Toronto SoundSource

Toronto SoundSource is a community of kindred spirits, a faculty for teaching Soundwork Intensives, a repository of resources for musical performances, and a laboratory for sonic experiments. As founder and coordinator of Toronto SoundSource, I am blessed to collaborate with gifted artists, soulful musicians, and skilled teachers.

Some services include:

Using soundwork to teach skills related to innovation and improvisation.
Facilitating a group event that teaches communication skills and deep listening principles.
Combining improvisational music with movement to "energize" an event.
Incorporating free-form artwork with soundmaking for a playful but purposeful team event.
Collaborating with psychologists and psychotherapists in support groups for cancer patients, bereavement clients, etc.

TRIUND is an improvisational music ensemble that incorporates world instruments, mystical melodies, and body-shaking grooves. Contact gdiggins@aol.com for engagement information.

The group includes Jen Gillmor on everything from bass to cello (see www.svdesign.ca ), Yuri Gorabachow as multi-instrumentalist (see www.imdb.com/name/nm0329786/), as well as special guests.

Gary Diggins also performs with the Sonica Collective is a large ensemble (upwards of 14 members) that performs improvisational music. The group includes everything from a string quartet to Prosad, a gifted sitarist (http://sitartoronto.com)
